Hello! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend! Yesterday, I went to a family birthday celebration, which was a blast! It was great to catch up with family while nibbling on Mendocino Farms sandwiches and snacks!
My brother, his girlfriend and me!
I’ve been working out and eating lots of great food lately! My dinner from Friday night was a HIT! I used a P28 flatbread and topped it with chicken sausage and mature cheddar cheese. I absolutely love strong cheeses… the stronger, the BETTER!
accompanied by asparagus and spinach for some greens!
Another delicious protein packed food I’ve been ‘gobbling’ up is jerky! I’ve been eating Perky Jerky’s Turkey jerky (try to say that 10x fast!) like there’s no tomorrow. I LOVE jerky. Like, love, love, loooooove it. I love how flavorful it is, filling it is and protein packed it is! I’ve been sampling their Original, Sweet and Spicy, Hot and Bothered and Teriyaki flavors!
My goodness, this jerky is EXTREMELY moist and flavorful! Sometimes you get jerky that’s super dried out and hard to chew, but Perky Jerky is so soft– it just melts in your mouth! I also love how they use NO Nitrates, preservatives and MSG. A truly healthy, filling and protein packed snack! I decided to incorporate it into my meals as my main protein source:
It’s pretty dang hard to say which ones are the best because they are all incredibly delicious, but if I had to rank the flavors in order, it would be as follows:
#1 Sweet and Spicy (I love a little spice, but I have a huge sweet tooth- this flavor hits both!)
#2 Original (Can’t go wrong with that classic jerky taste!)
#3 Teriyaki
#4 Hot and Bothered (This one is a little too spicy for me, but I am a wimp… if you are into spicy things, this flavor would be perfect for you!)
I also love how the company is so friendly and fun like this photo they posted on their Instagram page:
Yes, yes we do
Well I’m off to be productive and get ready for the busy week ahead!
OH P.S. Have you checked out the GIVEAWAY I have going on right now?
