Foods I Eat {Almost} Everyday to Stay Happy + Healthy

Are there some foods you just can’t go a day without? Those foods that somehow end up making it into your day whether you purposely had them, or they just always sound good?

I sure have those foods. I tend to eat a lot of the same foods everyday because I love them and they’re some of my favorites! Today, I’m sharing the foods that I eat every, single, day without fault because they keep me feeling happy and healthy!

Peanut Flour:

I use this to make a paste and I use it in my Vanilla Cinnamon Protein Cakes!

These are usually included in my bedtime snack! A sweet and protein filled treat to end my day. TIP: Add nut butter and syrup to these babies. You will thank me later.

Apples and Berries:

Super simple, but apples and berries are my favorite fruits! I tend to have berries and apples at night before bed. I almost always need something sweet before bed, so fruit is my top choice (along with tea!– these are my favorite flavors!)

Eggs (yolk and all!)

Oh, my absolute go-to breakfast are hard boiled eggs and peanut butter. Three hard boiled eggs and two spoonfuls of peanut butter and my day is off to a great start. Full of protein and fats!

Peanut Butter:

I haven’t gone a day without peanut butter in years! This peanut butter is my absolute favorite. I’ve tried a lot of different brands, but none compare to the creaminess and sweetness of this one!

Vegetables I eat everyday:

Cauliflower!

Crunchy, sweet and nutritious. I love eating these raw on my salads!

Arugula!

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been on a huge arugula kick the past few months. I love how strong and peppery the flavor it. Great with any meal and in salads!

Carrots!

I grew up snacking on baby carrots, but since then, I’ve found new ways to eat them, like these spiral carrot noodles!

Beef, Fish, Chicken and/or Beans:

Totally loving beef, chicken, fish (swordfish, tuna, mahi mahi) for dinners and lunches. Great protein kick!

Avocado:

I’m a huge fat advocate. I make sure to get in plenty of healthy fats every single day. Avocado is a favorite of mine as it’s versatile and creamy! I also love nuts, nut butters, oils and egg yolks for fats!

La Croix:

I usually have a La Croix at lunch everyday. They have so many amazing flavors— cranberry is my current favorite!
